Rental Terms
Before Rent
The driver must be at least 25 years old and have at least 3 years of driving license possession. Identification is required – ID card or passport for inspection, as well as signing the contract.
Foreign citizens are also required to have reciprocity for the use of a driver’s license during a temporary stay in the Republic of Serbia, if at that time Serbian citizens in a foreign country can drive a vehicle with a Serbian or international license.
Independently from the reciprocity, but due to identification of the validity of the data from driver’s license, the drivers must submit their driver’s license and international driver’s license if:
Driver’s license is issued in Europe, and the vehicle is rented in countries out of Europe;
Driver’s license is issued in non-EU countries, and the vehicle is rented out of such country;
Driver’s license is issued in the language and letter which is not alphabet as Arabic, Greek, Russian, Hebrew or Japanese.
Rent Duration
Minimum rent is 1 day (24 hours). The time of taking over ad returning the vehicle must be identical. It is to be tolerated up to 60 minutes of delay at returning the vehicle. Upon expiration of overdraft of such time, we will calculate new, additional day of rent.
Taking over the vehicle into the possession
The renter is obligated prior taking over the vehicle to inspect the same, and to report all possible damages that will be registered in the car rental agreement. The lessor guarantees for technical accuracy of the vehicle from its fleet. For the time of driving the vehicle, the renter is responsible for all damages on the vehicle, except normal wear and tear due to usage of the same.
Delivery service is available to customers/taking over the vehicles from the particular address on the territory of the Belgrade (e.g. in front of the hotel, on the airport etc.). The client is possible to require this additional service. The fee for indicated service will be paid depending on the terms and delivery location/collection, according to the valid pricelist of Aleksis doo.
Payment and deposite
Rent payment is carried out exclusively in domestic currency – dinars (RSD). The rent is to be paid upon taking over the vehicle in cash or bank transfer (legal persons) upon medium exchange rate of the National bank of Serbia or via credit card. The deposit is not compulsory, except for certain categories of vehicles and depends on the client`s credibility.

The fuel
The fuel consumed during the rent is paid by the client. Aleksis doo will additionally collect fuel topping up upon valid fuel prices in the Republic of Serbia in the case if the client returns rented vehicle with less fuel from the quantity that vehicle used to filled up with upon taking over.
Insurance
Returning the vehicle
When the vehicle is returned, the client will check the condition of the vehicle, and our employee together with him, and compare it with the condition of the vehicle at the time of taking over. The client undertakes to return the received vehicle to the lessor in the same condition in which he received it. In case of early return of the vehicle, the money collected after the confirmed reservation is not refundable. The client remains responsible for the vehicle until the documents and keys to the vehicle are returned, and the vehicle is inspected and a vehicle condition form is signed.

Client obligation
- to return the rented vehicle to the place and within the period determined by the rental agreement
- to return the vehicle in the same condition in which the vehicle was taken over
- to bear the costs of used fuel, the costs of fines for traffic violations that occurred due to improper use of the vehicle, including fines for illegal parking that occurred during the duration of the rental agreement
- to use the vehicle in accordance with the provisions of the Traffic Safety Act of the Republic of Serbia

Restrictions relating to vehicle driving
Crossing the border: Crossing the border of Serbia is allowed with prior consent and a green card provided by Alexis doo Belgrade, which will be indicated in the lease agreement.
The rental contract will specify whether the vehicle is delivered with unlimited or limited mileage, which is a matter of discretion of Alexis doo depending on the specific case.
It is not allowed to use the vehicle when any warning light is on or when the message about going to a mandatory service is displayed, except in case it is not safe to stop
It is NOT allowed to change parts, assemblies or devices on vehicles except with the consent of the Lessor.
